Marine Service Kit for Engine Oil Cooler and Lines.

The Peninsular Marine engines have an engine oil cooler that is at the front of the sea water cooling circuit directly out of the raw water pump on the vessel (sea water pump). This means that it sees the coolest water to cool the engine oil and sees the largest temperature swings and it also gets the debris from the sea water pump impeller when that comes apart from not being serviced regularly. These engine oil coolers are a common replacement item and the cooler lines from the engine were poorly designed on the Peninsular engine. Until now there hasn't been an update to the cooler lines, which have been unavailable from Peninsular and UD Marine for many years. The cooler line type and routing needed to be re-designed, and now it has.

Included in this kit is instructions and a replacement 2337016 engine oil cooler and the lines and fittings necessary to replace those old leaking low-pressure hydraulic lines.

The fittings for the cooler will be pre-installed. Replacement fittings for the engine block are available, but most existing fittings are compatible.
