Currently UniqueDiesel.com has transitioned into being an online store instead of a business division landing webpage. UDGMTruck has been re-named and it's store has replaced UniqueDiesel.com so if you previously had an account on UDGMTruck.com that same information is in place just under a new name.

These changes are all the results of consolidation.

In 2018 Unique Diesel acquired all assets of Peninsular Engines Inc. which included marine and automotive products and parts. During the 2024 year Unique Diesel started a process to drop full support of marine products that it had adopted in 2018 and consolidate product offerings to an automotive products business. Adopting Peninsular products was extensive and it was necessary to adopt similar part numbering systems and structure to support the marine product line. While this system was functional for the purpose it previously serviced, it proved limiting to the directions Unique Diesel desired to go before and after marine. That issue has now been addressed and former Peninsular part numbers and offerings have been removed. Former Peninsular part numbers referencing same parts can no longer be found.

Moving forward into 2026 Unique Diesel's priority will be one of an Automotive products business supporting the 6.2L and 6.5L GM Diesel platforms in light trucks. New part numbers and products will be used in place of former offerings that are viable. Previous small items that were the result and overflow of full-coverage parts support for the marine platform are removed. The new focus is on items that relate to fulfilling areas in the market where there is need, instead of supporting the same products found elsewhere.

Without the burden of supporting a previous company's product line Unique Diesel has positioned itself to be more agile in creating new automotive products and services.
