Re-manufactured Flight Systems DS4-5521 Electronic Injection Pump for 94-2002 6.5 Diesel engines.
This pump is fully re-manufactured and features a new Pump Mounted Driver (PMD) and associated on-pump control harness. The pump is updated to the current DS4-5521s specification which has the updated ULSD poppet valve and armature, other updates to the level of 5521 are also performed. This pump stocking status means that the pump is physically on-hand to ship. We do not drop-ship this item.
Pump Model Applicability:
This pump is partially applicable to 1994 year model Chevy and GMC vehicles and may not service 1-Ton 3500 Series (3500 and 3500 H.D.) 6.5L Turbo Diesel equipped vehicles. This product pump offering will not fit 1994 3500 series trucks with the 5068 pump installed, or trucks with the incorrect later pump installed while still using the factory PROM for a 1994 3500 Series. Contact us for pump options should this need occur.
This pump is fully applicable to 1994 year model Chevy and GMC vehicles in chassis 1500 and 2500 series.
This pump is fully applicable to 1995-2002 year model Chevy an GMC vehicles in all chassis options that are equipped with this electronic DS4 injection pump system.
Pump Limitations:
This model injection pump is only available for sale in the U.S.A and cannot be exported outside of the United States of America. This primarily a limitation due to receipt of core pumps. Please note that any orders made by international customers using a forwarding US address will be cancelled less an order cancellation fee. Only international sales whereby a customer sends us a pump in advance can be considered for purchase.
Supplied Pump Mounted Driver must be used with the pump, including remote mount applications, and must be returned with the pump in the event of a warranty evaluation. PMD's removed from pumps for remote mounting and found to be defective do not carry any warranty and must be replaced at owners expense during any warranty service evaluation.
Core pump required. This product is a re-manufactured product and we require that a core pump be returned to service this exchange. If you do not intend to return a core or participate in the core exchange process, you'll be best seeking your needs at another resource. As such, please note that this pump is only warranty eligible if the customer participates in a proper core return process. No Core No Warranty.
Proper installation of this pump requires use of scan tool diagnostics and specific hand tools. It is expected that sufficient tools, experience and reference material be used to professionally install this pump.
